There are several ways to work with Mary. She offers services that support clients to deepen humility and disrupt fragility through playshops, speaking, coaching, and consulting. Read more below.

playshops: Applied Improv, Applied Theatre

Mary creates one-of-a-kind playspaces to deepen humility and disrupt fragility. Her interactive playshops build confidence, collaboration, and communication skills using a praxis of applied improvisation and applied theatre. Combining play and humor allows participants to get comfortable with uncomfortable topics, like bias and oppression, one laugh at a time. Virtual playshops are available, including a monthly drop-in.

Speaking

Mary’s interactive keynote speeches and break-out sessions are both serious and joyful in a way that allows everyone to be involved. Her bespoke offerings will focus on your company’s specific needs to teach you how to apply tools from applied theatre to confront oppression within ourselves, our relationships, our workplaces, and our societies and cultures. Virtual keynotes available on, “Bias and Compassionate Listening,” “Intersectionality and Identity,” and “Humility and Fragility.”

Coaching: Executive, Team, Life

Mary is an International Coach Federation (ICF) Professional Coach credentialed through Duquesne University Palumbo Donahue School of Business. Mary has coached over 100 leaders through Coro Center of Civic Leadership development training programs. Mary supports clients to be allies and accomplices, reduce bias, and address oppression.

consulting: DEI Lifecycle, Dialogue Facilitation

Through long-term engagements, Mary supports clients to define sustainable ways to make systemic change within diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Previous results include a statement around our values and commitments in doing the work, developed/released/analyzed internal and external surveys, DEI-focused staff and Board training, public-facing implicit bias training co-facilitated with police, a committee focused on sustaining DEI work, train-the-trainer anti-racism dialogue facilitation training and 8-12 week dialogue groups with work colleagues on white supremacy culture and final recommendations from Mary for moving forward.
